Emma Shockley

ABOUT ME

Emma Shockley is a social entrepreneur, systems thinker, and digital strategist with a background in startups and nonprofits. Interested in the intersection between technological innovation and business, Emma centers social responsibility at the core of her work, which has focused on sustainability, mental health, and community engagement.

 

She attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she concentrated in Computation and Cognition and minored in Consumer Psychology at the Wharton School, where she graduated with highest honors for her thesis in Computational Neuroscience, investigating how computational models can be leveraged to propel individualized mental health solutions.

 

With six years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Emma has worked with When We All Vote, Un-PAC, and co-founded Rhizome, and now serves as the Chief Programs Officer of Climate Cardinals.

 

Her work has been featured in The Washington Post, The Guardian, The Independent, MSNBC, and more.
